This chandelier by Casa Padrino works not with many small drops but with large crystal panels. Across four tiers, broad faceted glass elements stand upright side by side, held by narrow gold-coloured rings; towards the bottom the body tapers into a point of individual block prisms.
The difference lies in the size of each single surface. Because every element is wide, no fine points of light appear but generous mirror images: the golden mount repeats itself many times over in the glass, and the warm light of the lamps settles across the facets.
At 60 cm in diameter and 65 cm high this piece is nearly as tall as it is wide. That makes it compact and upright rather than sprawling, which earns it a place in medium-sized rooms too: above a round dining table, in an entrance hall, in a bedroom or in a hotel room.
The 22 kg call for a load-bearing ceiling fixing, but are unproblematic for an ordinary concrete slab.
